Our Mission

We exist to be Jesus’ hands and feet here among our community in Pella and the surrounding area!

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings good tidings, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’ Isaiah 52:7

Love
We are compelled to love others because of the love Christ showed for each of us when he died upon the cross for our sins that we may be forgiven. We desire to love others in the same way.

“A new commandment I give you: Love one another as I have loved you. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35
Reach Others
We are called to reach out to others in need. We are called to show them compassion, love, and kindness. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
Disciple people.
Discipling is about love. It is about showing others the love of Christ, and helping them to experience that love for themselves. We are called to disciple others.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
